On the subject „Doing Business in India – Sourcing of Chemical Intermediates“ spoke – among other experts – Dr. Joerg Strassburger on September 21st 2015 in Baden-Baden, Germany. Participants were representatives of medium-sized companies who appeared interested to learn more about the potential for success in India. The workshop was organised by the AGV Chemie Baden-Wuerttemberg at their premises in Baden-Baden.
Based on many years of practical experience Dr. Strassburger and his partner Avinash Parihar spoke about the tremendous opportunities in the Indian Chemical Market. While outlining several business cases they made clear that in comparison to Europe lower manufacturing cost create realistic cost benefits of up to 20 % for chemical intermediates. Due to these prospects the participants were quite impressed. Their resume: „Also as a purchasing market India will be more in our focus now.“
